Monkey Vision respects the privacy of visitors to its company and website. In particular, visitors' rights regarding automated processing of personal data. Our privacy statement is intended to inform you about what personal data we use, why and when we may use your personal data, how long we keep your personal data and whether and with whom we share your personal data. We process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation ( the relevant legislation).

The current version of our privacy policy available on the website is the only version that applies for as long as you visit the website, until a new version replaces the current one.

Article 1 - Terms

1. The term "personal data" refers to information by which you can be identified as a person. This definition is in accordance with the relevant legislation. In this privacy statement, all actions relating to the use of your personal data are expressed with the term "processing".

Article 2 - How we obtain your personal data

We obtain your personal data both directly and indirectly, from you and third parties. We also obtain your personal data from your contractor involved in our business operations.

Article 3 - What personal data do we process from you

We do not process personal data for no reason. We only process personal data necessary to do our work for you as our client in the best possible way. We process from you in any case all personal data necessary to contact you such as: full name, address, place of residence, telephone number and e-mail address. We may also process contact details of family members and/or relations when necessary.

Furthermore, we process all personal data necessary to provide an optimal service and personal data that we are legally obliged to process, such as financial personal data, Citizen Service Number and ID, passport or driving licence. Part of personal data relevant to our services may include special personal data, such as Companies House / VAT number, customer data, e-mail addresses, name and address details, IP addresses, telephone number, marketing data, interests and demographic data.

Providing this personal data is a necessary condition to provide our services to you.

Article 4 - We process your personal data for the following purposes

We process your personal data to provide the best possible service. This means, among other things, that we process those personal data to be able to make you offers, or to send you the newsletter, or to send invoices and quotes. We also need your personal data to be able to advise you. We also need your personal data to communicate with you or to contact you.

We will never use your personal data for any other purpose. Should we use your personal data for another purpose, we will inform you in advance. You can always contact us for further explanation of our purposes.

Article 5 - Why may we process your personal data

We are not allowed to process your personal data just like that. We ask your permission to process your personal data. We are also legally obliged to process these personal data and the personal data are necessary for our services to you and the agreement we conclude with you. In some cases, your personal data are necessary for building and maintaining your website.

Artikel 6: Statistieken en cookies

We gebruiken cookies en vergelijkbare technieken voor noodzakelijke websitefuncties en, afhankelijk van je keuze, voor aanvullende analyse en advertentiemeting. Met zulke technieken kunnen persoonsgegevens worden verwerkt, zoals technische identificatoren en informatie over het gebruik van de website. Deze gegevens zijn niet automatisch anoniem.

Voor noodzakelijke websitefuncties hoef je geen toestemming te geven. Voor optionele volgsoftware en advertentiecookies vragen we een actieve keuze via de cookiebanner. Alleen onze website bezoeken, verder klikken of scrollen geldt niet als toestemming. Je kunt optionele tracking weigeren en je keuze later wijzigen of intrekken via de cookie-instellingen. Een weigering staat een gespreksaanvraag niet in de weg.

Google Ads: conversiemeting en gegevensdeling

Geef je in onze cookie-instellingen toestemming voor Google Ads, dan mogen we gegevens over je gespreksaanvraag met Google delen om te meten welke advertenties tot aanvragen leiden. We delen het tijdstip van je aanvraag, een unieke gebeurtenisreferentie, beschikbare Google-klikreferenties en een gehashte versie van je e-mailadres en telefoonnummer. We sturen geen vrije toelichting uit je aanvraag mee.

Hashen zet je e-mailadres of telefoonnummer om in een vaste code. Google kan die code vergelijken met gegevens van Google-accounts om een aanvraag aan een advertentie te koppelen. De gegevens zijn daarmee niet anoniem. Voor deze conversiemeting geven we toestemming voor gegevensdeling aan Google door. Advertentiepersonalisatie staat binnen deze koppeling uit.

Je kunt Google Ads afzonderlijk weigeren of je toestemming later intrekken via de cookie-instellingen. We stoppen dan volgende doorgifte op basis van die toestemming. Je kunt ook zonder deze toestemming een gesprek aanvragen. Voor vragen over eerder gedeelde gegevens of een verwijderverzoek kun je mailen naar [email protected]. Article 7 - How long we keep your personal data

We never keep your personal data longer than necessary. We have set the following retention periods, which are partly determined by legal obligations: we retain financial personal data for 7 years. We store analytical data for 2 years. Other personal data are deleted as soon as the need to keep them expires.

Je gespreksaanvraag en de bewaartermijn

Vraag je via een diagnosepagina een gesprek aan, dan vragen we je naam, zakelijke e-mailadres, website en telefoonnummer. Deze velden zijn verplicht. We gebruiken deze gegevens om persoonlijk contact met je op te nemen, je vraag te beantwoorden en je aanvraag op te volgen. We bewaren daarbij ook de datum, de gekozen diagnosepagina en de correspondentie over je aanvraag.

Je aanvraag wordt verwerkt in onze aanvraag- en verkoopadministratie. De betrokken collega’s ontvangen je aanvraag per e-mail zodat zij contact met je kunnen opnemen. Je ontvangt ook een ontvangstbevestiging. Met een gespreksaanvraag schrijf je je niet in voor een nieuwsbrief.

Als je aanvraag zonder opdracht wordt afgesloten, bewaren we de bijbehorende aanvraaggegevens en correspondentie maximaal zes maanden na de geregistreerde afsluitdatum. Een aanvraag is afgesloten zodra we hebben vastgelegd dat de opvolging is beëindigd en er geen opdracht uit voortkomt. Deze termijn geldt voor gespreksaanvragen als aanvulling op artikel 7. Komt er wel een opdracht, dan gelden voor het klantdossier de termijnen die bij die dienstverlening horen. Gegevens die we vanwege een concrete wettelijke verplichting langer moeten bewaren, beperken we tot wat daarvoor nodig is.

Article 8 - Who receives your personal data

These are parties involved in mailings, newsletters or for processing our administration. We also use search engines and research sites. For our marketing, we use Mailchimp, Facebook, Google Adwords, Analytics and Drive. For our accounting we use Moneybird (accounting program) and A & A Midden United Kingdom (accountant). For our hosting, we use ISDN (domain registration), Vimexx (domain registration & hosting), WPEngine (hosting) and TransIP (domains). The government receives data if required by law. We use Asana as a project tool for registering and maintaining projects.

Research sites measure user behaviour, improve user experiences, send our newsletters, take care of our accounting and provide hosting. Your personal data are kept in a secure system and are not provided to third parties, except as required by law.

Article 9 - Security

We ensure the security of your personal data. We have taken the necessary technical and organisational measures to secure your personal data. We have concluded processing agreements with our processors in which agreements are made about the security of your personal data.

Article 10 - Amendment of the privacy policy

We may amend this privacy policy. If we change the privacy policy to a significant extent we will notify you accordingly. We will notify users who are registered with us with their e-mail address of any changes. If you are not registered as a user, we recommend that you regularly check our website and this statement.

Article 11 - Your rights in relation to personal data

The personal data we process about you is yours personally. Therefore, you have the following rights:

The right to withdraw your consent

You have the right to withdraw the consent you have given to process your personal data. From that moment, without any other legal basis, we may no longer process your personal data.

Right of Inspection

At your request, we will inform you whether anything, and if so what, has happened to your personal data. We will then give you information about the purposes for which your personal data have been used, what personal data have been used and who are or will be the recipients of your personal data. If possible, we will also inform you of the period for which your personal data will be stored and/or on what basis that period is determined.

Right of rectification

Should it be the case that we process incorrect personal data about you, you have the right to have it amended, corrected or supplemented by us.

Right to data erasure

In some cases, you have the right to have the personal data we process about you erased. However, there are requirements attached to this. There are also some exceptions that apply to our organisation.

Right to restriction of processing

As a data subject, you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data if, for example, you believe that we are not processing the correct personal data about you or we would process your personal data unlawfully.

Do you invoke any of the above rights? Then we will also notify the recipients of your personal data.

Right to transferability of data

You have the right to get back the personal data you have provided to us. Whenever possible, we may transfer this provided personal data directly to another party if you request this.

Right of objection

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. In this objection, you must substantiate why you have an interest in no longer processing your personal data.

Right to file a complaint

You have the right to file a complaint with the Personal Data Authority (AP).

Automated individual decision-making, including profiling

You have the right not to be subject to a decision based entirely on automated decision-making or profiling where this may affect you.

Notice of breach relating to personal data of data subject

The moment a data breach has taken place and it poses a high risk to you, we will inform you as soon as possible. There are exceptions to this. If you want to know more, please contact us.

Would you like to exercise your rights? Then please contact us! When a request comes to us regarding the above rights, we need to check by whom such a request is made. We do this by requesting a copy of a valid passport, driving licence or identity document from you. The passport photo on the identity document may be masked out. We only process requests based on your own personal data.
