Article 1 - Definitions
- The term "personal data" refers to information by which you can be identified as a person. This definition is in accordance with the relevant legislation. In this privacy statement, all actions relating to the use of your personal data are expressed with the term "processing".

Article 2 - How we obtain your personal data
We obtain your personal data both directly and indirectly, from you and third parties. We also obtain your personal data from your contractor involved in our business operations.
Article 3 - What personal data do we process from you
We do not process personal data for no reason. We only process personal data necessary to do our work for you as our client in the best possible way. We process from you in any case all personal data necessary to contact you such as: full name, address, place of residence, telephone number and e-mail address. We may also process contact details of family members and/or relations when necessary.
Furthermore, we process all personal data necessary to provide an optimal service and personal data that we are legally obliged to process, such as financial personal data, Citizen Service Number and ID, passport or driving licence. Part of personal data relevant to our services may include special personal data, such as Chamber of Commerce/VAT number, customer data, e-mail addresses, name and address details, IP addresses, telephone number, marketing data, interests and demographic data.
Providing this personal data is a necessary condition to provide our services to you.
Article 4 - We process your personal data for the following purposes
We process your personal data to provide an optimal service. This includes processing personal data to make you offers, or to send you the newsletter, or to send invoices and offers. We also need your personal data to be able to advise you. We also need your personal data to communicate with you or to contact you.
We will never use your personal data for any other purpose. Should we use your personal data for another purpose, we will inform you in advance. You can always contact us for further explanation of our purposes.
Article 5 - Why may we process your personal data
We cannot process your personal data just like that. We ask your permission to process your personal data. We are also legally obliged to process these personal data and the personal data are necessary for our services to you and the agreement we conclude with you. Article 6 - Statistics and cookies
Monkey Vision maintains usage data of its website for statistical purposes. Personal data collected in this way are in principle anonymous and will not be sold by Monkey Vision to third parties. Article 7 - How long we keep your personal data
We never keep your personal data longer than necessary. We have set the following retention periods, which are partly determined by legal obligations: we retain financial personal data for 7 years. We store analytical data for 2 years. Other personal data are deleted as soon as the need to keep them expires.
Article 8 - Who receives your personal data
These are parties involved in mailings, newsletters or for processing our administration. We also use search engines and research sites. For our marketing, we use Mailchimp, Facebook, Google Adwords, Analytics and Drive. For our accounting we use Moneybird (accounting program) and A & A Midden Nederland (accountant). For our hosting, we use ISDN (domain registration), Vimexx (domain registration & hosting), WPEngine (hosting) and TransIP (domains). The government receives data if required by law. We use Asana as a project tool for registering and maintaining projects.
Research sites measure user behaviour, improve user experiences, send our newsletters, take care of our accounting and provide hosting. Your personal data are kept in a secure system and are not provided to third parties, except as required by law.
Article 9 - Security
We ensure the security of your personal data. We have taken the necessary technical and organisational measures to secure your personal data. We have concluded processing agreements with our processors in which agreements are made about the security of your personal data.
Article 10 - Amendment of the privacy policy
We may amend this privacy policy. If we change the privacy policy to a significant extent we will notify you accordingly. We will notify users who are registered with us with their e-mail address of any changes. If you are not registered as a user, we recommend that you regularly check our website and this statement.

The personal data we process about you is yours personally. Therefore, you have the following rights:
The right to withdraw your consent
You have the right to withdraw the consent you have given to process your personal data. From that moment, without any other legal basis, we may no longer process your personal data.
