Monkey Vision is the largest WordPress agency in the United Kingdom! We design and build unique websites and online shops for various clients throughout the United Kingdom and Belgium. Within our company there are different teams: design, development and support. For our design team we are looking for a creative UX / UI Designer. What will you do as a UX / UI Designer?

At Monkey Vision , we help companies from A to Z to create a unique website or shop. Before our developers can get to work, they need a cool design. This is where you come in!

Some of your daily tasks:

• You do intakes with customers. What is allowed on the website? What should it look like? You ask the right questions so you can get to work.
• You think about the optimal customer journey. What journey does the customer take on the website and how do you ensure this leads to conversion?
• What it's all about: you design websites in Adobe XD
• We like to move it, move it! You create animations and make elements move, we like to do things differently than usual!
• You work a lot together with our developers. They exactly recreate your web design in WordPress. You check whether your ideas work technically and agree on a planning for the delivery of the website. You then communicate this to the project contact person.
• We love to learn from each other! You regularly give feedback on designs by other web designers and colleagues and you always give your own design a whirl before they go out the door.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a creative, hardworking and eager to learn web designer who loves a challenge. You have knowledge of Adobe XD, like to go the extra mile and are not afraid to take on the challenge. out-of-the-box thinking.

Furthermore, you have:

• 32-40 hours per week time.
• The ambition to become the very best web designer.
• The drive to go beyond the standard UX / UI Designer.
• A bold portfolio of work you are proud of.
• Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere have no secrets for you.
• It is a plus if you can animate or understand basic code such as HTML and CSS
