This week’s blog is a little different from usual. Normally, we write a blog every week about the latest developments in online marketing and web design. We also enjoy sharing tips to help entrepreneurs and companies navigate the digital world. In this blog, we have some particularly good and big news. Wouter Polman, the founder and owner of Monkey Vision, has been nominated for the T500! You can read all about what this entails and what it means for us in this blog.

What is the T500?

The T500 was created by The Next Web in partnership with Accenture. The Next Web is a big name in the digital world and is pretty much known to all online marketers. It is a platform where everything about digital marketing and technology comes together. It organises events, shares the latest developments and is a platform where investors can easily invest in startups. We know Accenture as an international organisation consultancy, with a focus on tech and digitalisation.

The T500 was created by these two organisations to encourage the development of talented individuals working in technology. Ultimately, the nomination for the T500 is an honourable recognition for all that Monkey Vision does and what it stands for.

The advantages of being nominated for T500

On 9 and 10 May, the major ‘TNW Conference’ event will take place in Amsterdam. If you are nominated, you will be invited to this event and will have the chance to network with 17,000 other interested attendees. You’ll also have the opportunity to take part in so-called ‘talent sessions’. During these sessions, you’ll have the chance to sit round a table with leading companies to exchange ideas and insights. Last year, for example, companies such as Booking.com and Nike took part.

What does it mean for Monkey Vision Vision?

Despite the nomination being mostly personal to Wouter, it also has a positive effect for Monkey Vision as a company. It shows that we are on the right track and that people from outside are also looking at what the company does for entrepreneurs. In recent years, we have been able to carry out countless cool projects and hear equally cool entrepreneurial stories. For us at least, it is a sign that our work is appreciated by our clients.
